Nathanael Thompson is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Twilio since February 2019, Nathanael previously held multiple roles at SendGrid, including Principal Software Engineer and Software Engineering Manager, contributing to the Data Platform team responsible for big data and middleware solutions. Prior experience includes Senior Software Engineer roles at Citrix Bytemobile and SendGrid, with a focus on software (re)architecting and big data. Nathanael's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Sc.B. in Computer Science from Brown University.
