Rasmus Berg Palm is an experienced Machine Learning Engineer currently employed at twig.energy since February 2022. Previously, Rasmus held positions such as Postdoctoral Researcher at IT-Universitetet i København, Staff Engineer on the Machine Learning Team at Tradeshift, and Team Lead for the Machine Learning team at Tradeshift Network Ltd. Rasmus's research contributions as a PhD student at DTU - Technical University of Denmark resulted in four published papers in peer-reviewed conferences, focusing on end-to-end deep learning for information extraction from documents. Rasmus holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Machine Learning, a Master of Engineering in Medical Engineering, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical/Medical Engineering, all from DTU, with an educational foundation in Mathematics from Espergærde Gymnasium.
