David Pennock serves as the Director of the DIMACS Center and a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Rutgers University since January 2020. Prior to this role, David held various positions at leading technology companies, including Principal Researcher at Microsoft from May 2012 to December 2019 and Principal Research Scientist at Yahoo! from January 2004 to April 2012. David's early career includes positions as a Research Scientist at Overture Services and a Scientist at NEC. David earned a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Michigan in 1999 and a B.S. in Physics from Duke University in 1993.
