Sven Wagner is a seasoned expert in process safety with extensive experience across various prominent organizations. Currently serving as a Process Safety Expert and Business Unit Manager at TÃœV SÃœD Switzerland since September 2018, Wagner has previously held significant roles, including Research Manager in Safety Engineering at BASF Corporation in the USA and Associate Principal Scientist in Process Safety at AstraZeneca AB. Wagner's career includes a focus on calorimetric measurements, the definition of safe operational envelopes, and the training of process chemists and engineers in chemical hazards. With a strong academic foundation, including a PhD in Chemical Engineering, Wagner has also contributed to safety research and education at institutions such as the Health and Safety Executive UK and Technical University Berlin.
