Ashraf Samir has a diverse work experience. Ashraf started their career in 2006 as Egypt Deputy Managing Director and Deputy Country Manager at GL Noble Denton. In 2009, they joined DNV GL as Country Manager and Managing Director for Saudi Arabia, where they were responsible for the overall profit and loss. In 2016, Ashraf joined TÃœV Rheinland Group, initially as General Manager and Local Stream Manager for Industrial Services. Ashraf then assumed the role of Chief Operating Officer and Local Stream Manager for Industrial Services & Cybersecurity. Currently, they hold the position of Regional Director for Industrial Inspection and Materials Testing in the IMEA region at TÃœV Rheinland Group.

Ashraf Samir obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Alexandria University in the period between 1991 and 1996. Additionally, they pursued an Executive MBA at IE Business School from 2023 to 2025.
