Heather Mason's work experience started in 2004 with Brevard Public Schools. Heather began as a Media Specialist, and also took on the role of Teacher Trainer and Curriculum Writer. In these positions, they trained teachers on various educational technology tools, presented at different levels on topics such as research and technology-based student assessments, and developed curriculum for teachers on subjects like educational technology, literacy strategies, and standards alignment. Heather also worked as an English Teacher during this time.

In 2017, Heather joined Tutor.com as an Online Tutor.

Heather Mason earned a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Central Florida between 1993 and 1995.
