Catherine Murray serves as the Director and Head of Ireland at Turley since May 2024 and functions as a Director at AECOM since April 2023, previously holding the position of Associate Director: Economics at AECOM Ireland from November 2018 to May 2023. Catherine founded EconoWise Ltd., an independent economics consultancy specializing in institutional economics, environmental accounting, and spatial planning, operating from April 2017 to August 2018. Additional experience includes consulting at Market Economics Ltd. from 2010 to 2015 and serving as a Policy Analyst in Economics at Auckland Regional Council from January 2008 to August 2010. Catherine also contributed to the Integrated Development of Agricultural and Rural Institutions project as a post-doctoral researcher at Humboldt University Berlin from 2005 to 2007 and conducted research at the National University of Ireland, Galway in 2003-2004. Catherine holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from Imperial College London, an MSc in Regional and Rural Resource Planning from the University of Aberdeen, and a BA in Economics and Politics from Trinity College Dublin.
