Graeme Thompson

Engineering Manager [product Development] at Turbo Power Systems (TPS)

Graeme Thompson has extensive experience in engineering, particularly in power electronics and product development. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Turbo Power Systems (TPS) since November 2001, Graeme has held the role of Chief Engineer since November 2008, providing technical oversight for rail, industrial, and aerospace projects. Prior to TPS, Graeme was a Principal Power Electronics Engineer at Rolls-Royce from 1990 to 2001, leading various power electronics projects related to auxiliary power systems. Previous roles include Design and Development Engineer at NEI, where Graeme worked on significant projects involving induction motor drives and static converters, as well as Graduate Development Engineer at Ferranti PLC, focusing on electromagnetic design for navigation systems. Graeme Thompson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Newcastle University between 1981 and 1984.
