Tinega Okari is a seasoned professional in design and product development, currently serving as Design Lead at Turaco, focusing on digital financial products for African markets since July 2023. Previously, Tinega held the position of Product Designer at Shamiri Health, overseeing the mental health app Rafi through three product iterations from June 2022 to August 2023. As Co-Founder and Creative Design Lead at voca.co, a career coaching startup, Tinega played a crucial role in equipping recent graduates with essential soft skills. Tinega's experience also includes being a Thrive! Fellow at Shamiri Institute, a Creative Design Lead at Toastmasters International, and internships in supply chain and logistics. Tinega's educational background includes studies at the Interaction Design Foundation and Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
