Jimmy Birch is an experienced tunneling professional with a diverse background in TBM mechanical fitting and tunneling operations. Currently serving as a TBM Lead Mechanical Fitter at TUNNELCRAFT LTD since January 2024, Jimmy has a previous role as a TBM Mechanical Fitter at TG Tunnelling from August 2022 to January 2024. Notable positions include Lead TBM Mechanical Fitter at Costain Group PLC, HK SBR Mechanical Fitter at Anglo American, and extensive experience with The Robbins Company in TBM operations and mechanical assembly. With foundational experience in civil works and pipe jacking from Barhale Ltd and Herrenknecht AG, Jimmy has completed a CITB Barhale apprenticeship and holds various certifications, including confined space and first aid.
