Molly (Kingsley) Libbrecht, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of molecular biology and genetics. Molly is currently a Cell Therapy Discovery Scientist at Tune Therapeutics since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Gritstone bio from July 2021 to July 2022 as a Scientist I, where they developed high-throughput epitope screening assays and supported internal and collaborative projects in the areas of oncology and infectious diseases.

Molly has also served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Tufts University from July 2020 to July 2021, where they conducted research and gained expertise in tissue culture work with human leukemia cell lines and primary patient samples, leukemia mouse models, flow cytometry, ChIP-seq, and RNA-seq.

Before that, Molly was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia from January 2020 to July 2020. Their research focused on investigating the cooperation between mutant IDH1/2 and MLL-r based on histone epigenetics in acute myeloid leukemia. Molly also worked as a Graduate Student at the same institution from March 2017 to December 2019, during which they gained experience in various techniques such as tissue culture, ChIP-seq, and RNA-seq.

In addition to their research roles, Molly has also worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania from January 2018 to July 2020. Molly taught classes in biochemistry, molecular biology, and genetics, and provided guidance and assistance to undergraduate students.

Their earlier experiences include being a Graduate Student at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus from August 2013 to December 2019, where they characterized molecular mechanisms and dependencies of epigenetic modifiers in acute myeloid leukemia. Molly's work experience began with their role as an Undergraduate Researcher at Nazareth College from January 2010 to May 2013. Molly conducted research on tungsten-based compounds as Lewis acid catalysts in the production of biodiesel. Molly also worked as a Summer Research Intern at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in 2012.
