Mehmet Istemi is an accomplished design and research professional with extensive experience in the furniture and design industries. Since January 2020, Mehmet serves as the Tasarım & ARGE Bölüm Başkanı at Tuna Ofis ve Ev Mobilyaları. Previous roles include Factory Managing Coordinator at Yapı Artı from September 2014 to January 2020, Director at Talu Worldwide from September 2009 to September 2014, and Asnt GM (R&D + Design) at Tuna Furniture Company from October 2003 to February 2009. Mehmet has a rich background as the Founder and Manager of IDEAOFiS Ltd from 1992 to 2002, GM at Fil Design from 1989 to 1992, Chief of Design Dept at OTOKAR from 1985 to 1988, and Designer at Koç Ar&Ge from 1984 to 1985. Mehmet's academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Industrial Design from Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts and Fine Arts Academy.
