Frans Leenaars has a vast work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Frans began their career at KLM in 2001 as an Area Marketing Manager for Central and South America, and later transitioned into the role of Country Manager for Norway. In 2005, they joined Air France-KLM as the General Manager for the Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, and New Zealand region, and subsequently became the VP of Commercial Planning.
Leenaars then moved on to Cobalt Ground Solutions Ltd in 2010, where they served as the Managing Director. Following this, they joined Disney Parks & Resorts in 2011, where they held the position of VP Sales & Distribution for the EMEA region before being promoted to VP Marketing & Sales for the Benelux, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria market.
Currently, Leenaars is working at TUI as the Group Director of Customer Experience, a role they started in August 2020. Frans also previously held the position of CMO for the Western Region at TUI, starting in September 2015.

Frans Leenaars has a comprehensive education history. Frans obtained a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Administration from Hotelschool The Hague between 1988 and 1993. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration at Nyenrode Business University from 1994 to 1995. Prior to their university education, Frans completed their Gymnasium studies with a focus on eight subjects at Gymnasium Juvenaat in Bergen op Zoom from 1982 to 1988.
In terms of additional certifications, Frans Leenaars has obtained a Certified Customer Experience Professional accreditation from the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA) in 2020.
