Anes Kim is currently an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the Human Dynamics and Controls Lab, contributing to the RADWear/WEAR project under Dr. Hsiao-Wecksler. Anes also serves as a Research Fellow at The University of Texas at Dallas, focusing on convolutional neural networks for schizophrenia treatment as part of the NSF REU SOFTWARE program. Leadership roles include President of Illini VEX Robotics, where Anes promotes STEM through research and competitive robotics, and Project Manager for AI @ UIUC, overseeing research teams. Previous experiences include serving as the Secretary of the Korean American Student Association and as a Writing Across Engineering and Science Research Assistant, analyzing data and documenting research impact on engineering students. Anes Kim is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Brain and Cognitive Sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, following an Honors Diploma from Collierville High School and participation in the Governor's School for the Arts program.
