Laurie Allen is a seasoned professional in healthcare compliance and coding, currently serving as a Sr Compliance Auditor at Tufts Medicine since September 2023, where responsibilities include developing a continuous improvement plan for evaluation and management coding and billing efficiency. Previously, Laurie worked at St. Luke's University Health Network from November 2016 to September 2023, first as a Value Based Practice Liaison, offering support and guidance on Value-based practice tasks, then as an Appeals Specialist handling complex denial cases in professional billing, and also served as an EHR Application Designer/Builder, involved in designing and implementing EHR templates and monitoring compliance criteria. Earlier in Laurie's career, experience included roles as a Physician Coder/Analyst/Compliance Auditor at St. Luke's and a Physician Coder at HTSI, along with owning and operating Early American Crabhouse.
