Ross is the Founder and CEO of Tuesday Advisors, a leadership consulting firm that partners with organizations to conduct leadership assessment and development, executive coaching, team effectiveness workshops, and culture assessment and change. He is also the founder of Career Commons, a career assessment and coaching business, and serves as a Lecturer of Commerce at the University of Virginia in the McIntire School of Commerce.
Before starting Tuesday, Ross was a core member of the Leadership Advisory Services team at Spencer Stuart where he helped clients across industries navigate their most complex leadership and talent challenges, leveraging his expertise in executive assessment and development, as well as C-suite succession planning. Prior to that, he founded and led the leadership assessment practice of a boutique executive search firm in San Diego, CA where he worked with private equity backed software companies to build and develop high performing executive teams. He also served as adjunct faculty at the Center for Creative Leadership where he taught leadership development programs to executives from around the world, conducted research, and completed an executive coaching practicum.
His writing has been featured in a number of scholarly and mainstream business publications like Leadership Quarterly and Psychology Today and he is the author of the book Assessing CEOs and Senior Leaders: A Primer for Consultants. He also writes a newsletter on navigating complex decisions in work and career called Now What? He holds a B.A. in English language and literature from the University of Virginia, and an M.S. and Ph.D. in consulting psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology.
He and his wife live in Atlanta with their two daughters and two vizslas where he serves on the Atlanta Regional Board for the UVA College Foundation, and is a board member for Atlanta City Fellows.
