Celso Montes, GISP, has extensive experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and programming, currently serving as a Programmer Analyst at Tucson Electric Power since January 2025. Prior roles include Manager of GIS Solutions and GIS Developer at Sidwell from October 2022 to January 2025, and Senior Geographic Information System Analyst at Pima County from March 2020 to October 2022. Celso previously held positions such as GIS Manager at Graham County, where responsibilities included overseeing GIS operations, planning, budgeting, and data accuracy improvements, as well as collaborating with GIS staff for public mapping. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Geographic Information Systems Technology and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the University of Arizona, along with a Bachelor's degree in Biology from San Francisco State University.
