Ramon A. Gaanderse brings extensive experience in the civil engineering and construction sectors, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Information Officer at Tucson Asphalt Contractors, Inc. since March 2021. Gaanderse previously held the position of Vice President of Operations at the same company. As the Founder of Southern Arizona Construction Career Days, Gaanderse focuses on enhancing career awareness in the construction industry. Prior roles include Director of Communications at KE&G Construction, Executive Director of the Arizona Transportation Builders Association, President/CEO of the Greater Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce, Executive Director of the Metropolitan Pima Alliance, Chief of Staff for the City of Tucson's Ward 3, and Manager of Government Affairs for the Tucson Metro Chamber. Gaanderse holds a B.S. in Communication from the University of Arizona and a high school diploma from Trinity-Pawling School.
