Melanie Richards is an academic with extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as Associate Professor at the Technical University of Munich since February 2022. Prior to this role, Melanie held the position of Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) at the University of Bath from November 2018 to February 2022 and worked as a Lecturer at the University of Bristol from December 2017 to October 2018. Previous appointments include Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of St. Gallen - HSG from October 2015 to November 2017 and Visiting Scholar at Cass Business School from October 2014 to September 2015. Melanie’s academic journey began with a PhD candidacy at the Center For Family Business at the University of St. Gallen from April 2012 to September 2015 and included a role as Management Consultant at PwC from September 2010 to March 2012. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in International Business from the University of Bath (2009-2010) and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (2005-2009).
