Barrett Lawson, MBA, is a highly experienced engineering professional with a focus on product development and mechanical design. Currently serving as Project Engineering Manager at TTI Floor Care North America since March 2020, Barrett leads New Product Development projects for the Hoover, Dirt Devil, and Oreck brands, with a notable recent project being Hoover's CleanSlate Pet spot cleaner. Prior to this role, Barrett worked as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Murata Machinery USA, Inc., managing the Standard Designs Group and developing custom automation solutions. Barrett's extensive background also includes a tenure as Senior Design Engineer for Aerodynamics at Roush Fenway Racing, leading aero design initiatives for NASCAR, as well as experience as an Automation Engineer at KDY Automation Solutions, Inc. and as a Draftsman/Designer at Flowtack, LLC. Barrett holds a Master of Business Administration from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution, in addition to a degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
