Karsten Arts is a Process Engineer at Trymax Semiconductor since July 2021, specializing in the development of plasma-based etching, ashing, and surface treatment processes for the semiconductor industry. Previously, Karsten was a PhD candidate in the Plasma and Materials Processing group at Eindhoven University of Technology from April 2017 to July 2021, focusing on Plasma-Assisted Atomic Layer Deposition and thin film conformality. Karsten has also held roles such as a student assistant managing the website for the MSc program in Science and Technology of Nuclear Fusion at Eindhoven University, an intern researcher at the ITER Organization, and a tutor for physics, mathematics, and chemistry. Karsten completed a Master of Science degree in Applied Physics and Science and Technology of Nuclear Fusion, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physics, both from Eindhoven University of Technology.
