Romain Bertholon has a diverse work experience in software engineering and development. Romain started their career at Merethis in 2009 as a C++ Software Developer. Romain then worked at Horus Edu as a C++ Software Developer and made open source contributions to their digital workspace for schools and universities. Romain also worked at ArxSys as a Research and Development Engineer, where they developed Linux file systems analysis tools and user interfaces, among other tasks.

In 2012, Romain joined QuantHouse as a Software Engineer, specializing in market data streams decoders and performance optimizations. Romain also provided level 3 support to clients. After that, they worked at IMC financial markets & asset management as a Software Engineer, focusing on developing tools for analyzing auto-traders' performances, market data streams decoders, and database purging.

Romain continued their career at AVM Informatique as a Software Engineer, before joining Alwan Color Expertise. At Alwan Color Expertise, they served as a Software Engineer and contributed to various software projects. Romain then worked at Advercity as a Web Developer, where they gained experience in web development.

Currently, Romain is working at TrustInSoft as a C/C++ Software Analyst, utilizing their expertise in software analysis.

Romain Bertholon began their education in 2003 at IUT de Saint Etienne (Compte certifié), where they pursued a DUT in Electronic. Romain completed their studies in 2006 and then went on to enroll at EPITECH - European Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2010. During this time, they earned a Master's degree in Computer Science. In 2008, Romain Bertholon temporarily attended Chongqing University, where they pursued another Master's degree in Computer Science, completing it in 2009.
