Rustam Aliyev has a diverse work experience in the technology field. Rustam started as a Software Developer and IT Administrator at Chashioglu Publishing House from December 2007 to December 2008. Rustam then interned as a Technology Intern at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan from July 2011 to September 2011. In 2012, they interned at J.P. Morgan in the Futures & Options and OTC Clearing technology department for two months. Rustam then joined J.P. Morgan as a Technology Analyst, working on various projects related to commodities correlation investor products and commodities power & gas. Rustam also served as an Associate in the Credit Technology department, where they worked on algorithmic bond quoting technology. Later, they became a Vice President, leading the Equities Data Analytics team and developing data platforms for internal transactions and market data sources. In 2018, Rustam joined Trumid as a Platform Software Developer, before moving on to become the Post Trade Technology Lead and then the Cross Product Lead. Overall, they have gained significant experience in software development, data analytics, and technology leadership roles.
Rustam Aliyev has a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from Baku State University, which they obtained from 2005 to 2009. Rustam also has an MBA in Business Administration from Khazar University, which they earned from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, Rustam has an MSc in Computer Science from The University of Edinburgh, which they completed from 2011 to 2012. Rustam has obtained several certifications related to data science, programming, and economics from various institutions such as edX, Microsoft, and Coursera.
