Jan Bischof has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jan is currently the Co-Founder and CTO of truemetrics since May 2021. In 2022, they became the Co-Founder and CEO of RESTRUU.

Jan also worked as a Product Owner at dentalXrai from June 2021 to August 2022. In this role, they supported the development of a tool for dentists using machine learning for automatic analysis of dental X-rays and other diagnoses. Jan was responsible for validating the product-market-fit, managing a development team, and preparing the product's market entry as a medicinal device.

Before that, Jan worked as the Lead Project Manager - Software at EnerKite GmbH from May 2019 to May 2020. Jan managed the technical development of the team and implemented project planning and controlling activities, as well as introducing test management and requirements management processes.

Prior to EnerKite GmbH, Jan was an Expert Control and Medical Devices at W.O.M. WORLD OF MEDICINE GmbH from September 2016 to May 2019. Jan served as the lead software developer for medical technology systems, with responsibilities in control engineering, signal processing, requirements engineering, system engineering, and software development guidelines compliance. Jan also registered several patents and managed the introduction of a PLM and requirements engineering tool.

Jan's earlier experience includes working as a Computer Vision Developer at Hella Aglaia Mobile Vision GmbH from August 2015 to August 2016, and as a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the University of Stuttgart from September 2012 to July 2015.

Jan Bischof obtained a Doctor's Degree in Regelungstechnik in der Verbrennungstechnik from the University of Stuttgart, which they pursued from 2012 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Diplom-Ingenieurin (Dipl.Ing.) degree in Technische Kybernetik from the same university, spanning from 2007 to 2012. In addition to their educational qualifications, Jan Bischof holds additional certifications such as Professional Scrum Product Owner I from Scrum.org, AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute. It is not mentioned when Jan Bischof obtained the IREB Certification in Requirements Engineering.
