Abby Polek is an experienced medical editor with a diverse background in veterinary and technical writing. Currently serving as a Medical Editor at TrueLearn since February 2021, Abby previously held similar roles at Merck and Brief Media, where the focus was on medical content. Early career experience includes managing editorial responsibilities at the American Board of Medical Specialties and the National Board of Medical Examiners. Abby's specialized knowledge in veterinary medicine was developed through roles as a Veterinary Medical Editor and Veterinary Nurse. Abby holds a Bachelor's Degree in Art History from Smith College and an Associate's Degree in Veterinary Technology from Harcum College.
