Gomathi Perumal started their work experience as a Technical Assistant in SPIC Science Foundation in 2000. In 2001, they joined codemantra as a Project Leader and stayed there until 2003. From 2004 to 2014, they worked as a Manager - Operations and Key Accounts at Genius Digital Solutions. In 2014, Gomathi became the Head of Sales Operations at Evolve Services - "Think Beyond" until the end of 2015. In 2016, they founded and became the Principal Consultant of True Talents Consulting Pvt. Ltd. Currently, Gomathi is the Head of Business Operations at AgnoShin Technologies, a position they assumed in September 2018.

Gomathi Perumal has a Master's Degree in Computers from Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College. They also have a Master's Degree in HRM from Indira Gandhi National Open University. Additionally, Gomathi Perumal holds a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics from S.D.N. Bhatt Vaishnav College For Women.
