This means that most companies dealing with the chain logistics on a daily basis still do their work by e-mail or telephone. Usually they are using the same carrier for all of their transport arrangements. This is not a transparent and sustainable way of administrating transportation. We have also heard this from our cooperation partners. E.g. a large construction store needs a carrier to deliver the goods to the customer. The parking lots are then filled with relatives and friends of the same carrier, ready to deliver the goods using their own cars. This system is in itself working, but who benefits from it and to what extent?The logistics of a day-to-day supply chain must be accurate and well-informed. Transport orders cannot be delayed, everything must be cast so that the production does not stop and the goods reach customers on time. The vast majority of companies and people looking for a carrier search for them on the Internet via Google, or use the contacts they have already established for this purpose, receiving quotes from a maximum of 2-3 carriers.
