Sofie Kilroy currently serves as the Sustainability Manager for Poultry Europe and Central Asia at Trouw Nutrition, having previously held roles including Marketing Manager and Species Coordinator for monogastrics, focusing on enhancing brand value in the Benelux and Scandinavian markets. Prior experience includes working as a Key Account Manager and EKS Specialist at Elanco, where responsible for optimizing profitable sales, and serving as an Advisor for Poultry at QUARTES, providing high-quality advice to poultry farmers. Sofie completed a PhD at Ghent University, studying Salmonella and its host interactions, leading to the development of a new vaccine. Educational qualifications include a Black Belt and Green Belt in Lean Engineering, as well as a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, all from Ghent University.
