Leslie Steen currently serves as the Wyoming State Director for Trout Unlimited, leading a team focused on restoration, policy, and community engagement across priority waters in Wyoming. In previous roles within Trout Unlimited, Leslie directed the Snake River Headwaters Initiative and managed various conservation projects, emphasizing community support and collaboration with numerous stakeholders. Prior experience includes communications management for the Jackson Hole Land Trust and positions at Montana State University Institute on Ecosystems and the USDA Forest Service, with a background in environmental science and fisheries. Leslie holds a Master’s degree in Fish and Wildlife Management from Montana State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Biology from Columbia University.
