Joan van der Loo is an experienced professional in environmental and safety management, currently serving as an Environmental Advisor at Tronox since February 2009, focusing on by-products development and CO2 reduction. Previously, Joan held various roles at Tronox, including SHEQ Manager, where responsibilities included implementing health and safety protocols and leading a team of SHEQ specialists. With prior experience as an International SHE Advisor at Vopak and roles in process safety and environmental engineering, Joan has a strong background in compliance, risk management, and energy efficiency. Educational qualifications include a degree in Chemical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology and post-academic studies in Energy Efficiency and Safety Engineering.
