Katie Kerr began their work experience in 2013 as an Elementary School Teacher at Concord Public Schools. In this role, they gained experience in curriculum development, lesson planning, educational technology, and content creation. Katie taught grades 1, 3, 5, and special education and utilized digital tools for curriculum design and administration. In 2022, they joined Tripleseat as a Learning and Content Specialist.

Katie Kerr obtained a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Integrated Elementary and Special Education from Wheelock College in the year 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Psychology from Keene State College, graduating in 2011. Katie has also earned additional certifications, including being a National Geographic Certified Educator from National Geographic, which they obtained in March 2020. Katie also holds certifications in ELEMENTARY 1-6 and MODERATE DISABILITIES PK-8, both from MA, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are unknown.
