As part of the In Vitro Technologies group, Xinyi leverages experience in systems engineering, microfluidics and medical imaging. Previously, Xinyi worked on the development of a novel medical imaging modality called magnetic particle imaging, and on a cell-based sensor for a bacterial signaling molecule, autoinducer-2.
Xinyi received a Ph.D. from the UC Berkeley-UCSF joint graduate group in bioengineering, and a B.S. in bioengineering from the University of Maryland.
