Matt Boto has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Matt began their career in 2007 as a Nurse Extern at Saint Thomas Health, where they were responsible for patient care and clinical skills. In 2008, they worked as a Camp Photographer at Pine Cove, where they shot, edited, and published over 12,000 photos. The following year, they joined Adrian Hitt Photography as a Post-Processing and Administrative Assistant.

In 2009, Matt entered the IT field, working as a Support Desk Technician at Renal Advantage Inc., providing tier one help desk support for dialysis clinics nationwide. Matt also served as a Freelance Producer at SBC Executive Committee, creating social media videos.

From 2011 to 2019, Matt worked at Community Health Systems in a variety of roles. Matt started as a Clinical Application Analyst, specializing in McKesson Horizon Clinicals products. Matt later became a Senior Application Analyst, where they supported the implementation of the Cerner system and collaborated with various teams. Their final role at Community Health Systems was a Senior Business Analyst, where they performed Business Analysis functions on the Enterprise Data Warehouse team.

Since 2019, Matt has been working at Trinisys. Matt started as a Healthcare Data Engineer, supporting and populating the health record viewer with data. Matt also developed knowledge articles and mentored team members. Matt then became a Senior Healthcare Data Engineer, where they mentored engineers and performed analyses on upcoming projects. Currently, they serve as the Healthcare Data Technical Lead, responsible for leading technical efforts and mentoring team members.

Matt Boto attended Union University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with a focus on Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Matt also obtained a certification as a Registered Nurse from the State of Tennessee Division of Health Related Board in November 2008. Recently, in November 2021, Matt obtained an additional certification as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
