Matthew Drake has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Congo Subsurface Lead and previously holding the positions of Business Development Manager and Subsurface Manager (Brazil) at Trident Energy since October 2016. Prior to this, Matthew worked at Perenco from February 2006 to September 2016, where roles included Senior Geologist and Exploration & Non-Operated Development Manager. Matthew began a career in geology at Eni from August 2002 to February 2006, taking on the roles of Reservoir Geologist and Geologist. Matthew earned an MSci degree in Geology/Earth Science from Royal Holloway, University of London, between 1998 and 2002.
