Berry McIntyre has extensive experience in the electric utility industry, currently serving as System Operator Senior Lead at Tri-County Electric Cooperative, Inc. since March 2022. In this role, Berry oversees System Operators and manages remote control and monitoring of distribution assets. Prior to this, Berry held various positions at Dominion Energy from April 2008 to March 2022, including Sr. Distribution Operator, where responsibilities encompassed the safe operation of the electric distribution system, developing contingency switching plans, and training apprentice operators. Berry’s earlier roles include Distribution Dispatcher, Associate Distribution Dispatcher, and Apprentice positions, all focused on ensuring the reliability and safety of electrical distribution systems through effective coordination, troubleshooting, and operational support.
