Fritz Brown has a diverse work experience. Fritz started their career in 1996 at Bechtel Corporation, where they worked in business development, handling activities such as Request for Proposals and governmental regulation oversight for various infrastructure projects. Fritz'sprojects included light rail, bridges, and hydroelectric dams in North America, Asia, and the Middle East. In 1999, Fritz joined Treystar as part of their leasing and development team, responsible for leasing, acquisitions, and development of Treystar's office property portfolio. Fritz managed the leasing and development of a 250,000 SF office space portfolio in Portage and downtown Kalamazoo. Fritz was also involved in office and retail development projects, including build-to-suit and renovation ventures. Fritz currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at Treystar, starting in January 2020.
Fritz Brown completed their primary education at Phillips Academy from 1985 to 1986. Fritz then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English at the University of Michigan, where they studied from 1987 to 1990. Following this, Fritz spent a semester abroad in Seville, Spain in 1990-1991, focusing on Spanish Language and Literature without earning a degree. Fritz later returned to the University of Michigan to obtain a Master's degree in Public Policy, which they successfully completed from 1994 to 1996.
