Kristi Honey is the current Governor at Trent University. Prior to their current position, they served as the Chairperson of the Board for the College Employer Council from September 2020 to August 2022. In their role as Chairperson, they were responsible for approving the strategic direction, related priorities, and corporate performance management framework of the CEC.

Kristi has been a part of the college system for many years and has extensive experience in human resources and collective bargaining. Her experience and expertise have been invaluable in their current role as Governor. Kristi is committed to ensuring that Trent University provides an excellent education to all of its students.

Kristi Honey has a Bachelor of Business Management from Athabasca University, a Diploma in Business Administration from Durham College, and an MBA from University Canada West. Kristi also has a certification from Microsoft in Microsoft Certified IT Professional & Trainer.
