Romuald Avenel is an experienced fire safety professional currently serving as a Fire Stopping Technologist at Tremco CPG Europe since November 2021. Prior to this role, Romuald held multiple positions at CSTB from January 2002 to November 2021, including Project Manager and Fire Test Development, Section Manager of the Fire Resistance Unit, Team Leader of Fire Resistance Technicians, and Fire Resistance Test and Studies Technician. These roles involved managing fire resistance projects, overseeing human resources and budgets, designing and developing testing schedules, and providing technical support to fire test teams. Romuald's earlier experience includes serving as a Control Technician for dredging and hydrography at Port Autonome du Havre and as a Site Leader at ETDE. Romuald holds a Higher National Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Technology (Institut Universitaire de Technologie) and an Industrial Science and Technology A Levels from Lycée Technique Privé Jeanne d'arc.
