Dato’ Ir. Abdullah Bin Abd Rahman was appointed as an Independent and Non-Executive Director on 1st June 2018.

He graduated from the University of Wales, Cardiff, United Kingdom with a Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering and has gone on to qualify as a Certified Professional Engineer registered with the Malaysian Board of Engineers since 2006.

He began his career with the Malaysian Public Works Department as a Project Engineer in 1979. His illustrious 36-year career there saw him involved at different stages in various projects implemented by the Department from being a Section Head, Resident Engineer, District Engineer, Deputy Director to then being a Director for the Department at several states. He retired from the Public Works Department in 2015 and his last position there was as Director at the Road Facility Maintenance Branch.
