Markus Selent is currently serving as the Business Development Director for the DACH region at Travod since March 2024, focusing on business development management, lead management, and consulting for localization projects. Prior to this role, Markus was the Chief Operations Officer at medax - Medizinischer Sprachendienst GmbH from November 2020 to September 2023, where responsibilities included operational and strategic corporate development, administration, team organization, and key customer development. Markus also held various positions at EVS Translations from January 2003 to December 2019, including Head of Project Management and Project Manager, overseeing project management structure and customer onboarding. Earlier career experiences include roles at AdHoc Translations SE, Callino GmbH, and Justice Telecom. Markus holds a degree in economics from the University of Hamburg and studied at the University of Stirling.
