Simone Rem is a seasoned professional in event management and business development, currently undertaking a global sabbatical since August 2022. Previous roles include Event Expert and Convention Services Manager at Roche from January 2019 to July 2022, along with Manager of Business Development and Intern in Incoming Services at Congress Center Basel from January 2016 to December 2018. Early career experience includes working as a Customer Consultant at Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank from August 2011 to July 2013 and completing a Commercial apprenticeship at Hilton Hotels & Resorts from August 2007 to July 2010. Academically, Simone Rem holds a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Event Management from ZHAW School of Management and Law, a Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Management from HES-SO Valais-Wallis, and a Vocational Commercial Baccalaureate from Handelsschule KV Basel.
