Henning Thormaehlen currently serves as the Head of Mergers and Acquisitions and Head of Post Merger Management at TRATON GROUP, a position held since July 2021. Prior to this role, Thormaehlen was with Linde from 2012 to June 2021, where responsibilities included Executive Director of M&A for EMEA and APAC, as well as leading the Head of Integration and Separation functions and overseeing global divestments related to the merger with Praxair Inc. Earlier in the career, Thormaehlen spent over a decade at Oliver Wyman, ascending through roles from Analyst to Partner. Academic credentials include a Dipl.-Kfm. in Economics from RWTH Aachen University and a Dipl.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen and Boston University, completed between 1992 and 1998.
