Charles Donahue has over 30 years of work experience in the technology field. Charles began their career in 1984 as an Information Systems Operator/Analyst with the US Army. In 1997, they moved on to become a Microcomputer Specialist with John C. Lincoln Health Network. From 2000 to 2007, they worked as a Senior Unix Systems Administrator at First Health Group Corporation. In 2007, they moved to Coventry Health Care as a Senior Unix Systems Engineer. In 2011, they joined CGI as a Senior Unix Systems Administrator and then in 2013, they joined GoDaddy as an Email Systems Engineer - Linux. Most recently, they have been working as a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with Trapp Technology since 2017.

Charles Donahue attended Cochise College from 1995 to 1996. Charles obtained a Tru64 Unix Systems Administration certification from Tru64 Unix Advanced Systems Administration in May 2001 and a Red Hat Certified System Administrator certification from Red Hat in February 2019.
