Irfan Arshad is an accomplished professional in the telecommunications sector with extensive experience in network operations and management. Currently serving as General Manager of Fiber Optic Development at Transworld Home since June 2019, Irfan oversees GPON Network Expansion and Roll Out in the Central and North Region, driving complex projects through effective scope, budget, and risk management. Prior to this role, Irfan held positions including Head of Department - Network Operations at Wateen Telecom Limited, where responsibilities included overseeing DWDM and SDH networks and developing planning guidelines for FTTH/GPON infrastructure. Earlier experience included working as Technical Audit Consultant at Broadband Technology Consultants and Senior Manager Planning at Worldcall Telecom Limited, focusing on network efficiency and resource utilization. Irfan earned a BSc in Electronics & Communication from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, and an MS in Total Quality Management from the University of the Punjab.
