Mary Matherne is a seasoned tax professional with significant experience in corporate tax management. Currently serving as Tax Manager at Transportation Tax Consulting LLC since January 2025, Mary previously held a similar position at Ergon Inc. from September 2015 to January 2025, where responsibilities included overseeing the corporate tax department and specializing in sales and use tax for over 20 companies. Prior to that, Mary worked as a Staff Accountant at Grisham, Wildman, and Work, providing accounting and audit support to automotive dealerships. Mary holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Mississippi and an Associate of Arts in Accounting from Northwest Mississippi Community College.
