Moussa Dia is a skilled geographer with comprehensive experience in geospatial analysis, currently employed at the U.S. Department of Transportation since November 2024. Previously, Moussa served as a Geospatial Analyst at ArdentMC from February 2020 to November 2024, and gained foundational agricultural knowledge as a Farm Hand at Wheatland Industries, Inc. for a brief period in 2019. Prior academic experience includes the role of Center for Geospatial Analysis Fellow at William & Mary, where Moussa managed and designed GIS projects, and experience in organizing intramural sports programs as a Supervisor and Referee. An early research internship at the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory involved a study on hydrogen diffusion from olivine. Moussa holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from William & Mary, awarded in 2018, and completed an IB Diploma at Washington-Lee High School in 2014.
