Nathaniel Buhagiar is a seasoned maritime professional currently serving as a Flag and Port State Control Inspector at Transport Malta since May 2024. Prior to this role, Buhagiar held positions at ZETA ENERGY LTD. from September 2022 to April 2024, including Technical Fleet Superintendent and Assistant Technical Fleet Superintendent. Nathaniel's extensive experience also includes a tenure at Gozo Channel Co LTD, where Buhagiar served as Chief Engineer and Second Engineer from April 2015 to September 2022. Earlier in their career, Buhagiar worked as a Jr. Engineer at Bremer Bereederungsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG in 2011. Buhagiar holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from MCAST, completed in August 2014, and also attended MCAST from 2007 to 2013, along with completing secondary education at Mikiel Anton Vassalli from 2001 to 2006.
