Esther Madden is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in research, standards, and civil engineering. Currently serving as the Head of Research and Standards at Transport Infrastructure Ireland since March 2021, Esther previously worked at Arup from July 2004 to March 2021 as a Senior Consultant, where responsibilities included liaising with civil engineering groups and data teams for digital construction projects. Prior roles include Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Linguagest and an internship at Haley & Aldrich. Esther Madden holds a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from University College Dublin.
