Dr. Pola Berent is an experienced strategy consultant and principal data analyst currently working at Transport for London since November 2020. Previously, Dr. Berent held positions as a senior transport consultant at Urban Flow Ltd and as a researcher project lead for IATSS International Association of Traffic and Safety Sciences. Dr. Berent completed an Engineering Doctorate while serving in multiple roles, including research engineer and intern at Sustrans. Additional experience includes teaching assistant roles at University College London and the Development Planning Unit, as well as a lead data analyst position at the Department for Transport, focusing on the Cycling and Walking Investment Strategy. Dr. Berent earned degrees from University College London and the London Business School and holds a JSPS Academic Fellowship from Osaka City University.
