Wout van den Heuvel has extensive experience in the transport and logistics sector, currently serving as Coordinator Team Digitalisering at Transport en Logistiek Nederland since November 2006, focusing on digital transformation and data-driven solutions for logistics providers. Previous roles include Policy Advisor for Innovation and Digitalization, where Wout coordinated ICT developments, and Secretary for Policy and Market Segments, advocating for logistics companies active in container transport. Additionally, Wout holds leadership positions in various organizations, such as Chairman of Stichting Vervoeradres and General Secretary of Stichting Uniforme Transport Code. Prior to these roles, Wout worked at AP Moller Maersk in various IT and management positions, contributing to SAP implementations and logistic process optimizations. Wout holds dual bachelor's degrees in Logistics and Economics from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
